READ MOREAccording to the Ministry of Electric Powers urban network renovation plan, in order to improve the living electricity conditions of residents and gradually implement the “one household, one table” system, our factory has developed and produced One Household One-Meter Meter Box Dedicated Terminal Block products. The product is used by nearly 100 units in more than a dozen provinces, cities and autonomous regions across the country. Users generally report that after installing the junction box, it is convenient to operate, and ensures reliability of wiring, achieving the purpose of safe use of electricity. It is deeply welcomed by electricity metering workers and has played a positive role in the implementation of the "one household, one meter" system and the standardization and standardization management of electricity metering devices in the power system. It is recognized by Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Association and other four units as a high-quality scientific and technological product in Zhejiang Province and is recommended to use by the Electric Power Industry Bureau.
This series of products is made of polymer polycarbonate materials imported from the United States. It has the characteristics of high impact strength, non-fragmentation, moisture resistance, good insulation performance, anti-aging, yang combustion, and high temperature resistance. The wiring screw adopts a composite groove combination process, and two types of screwdrivers are universal, so they are small in size, large in capacity, high pressure resistance, reasonable structure, bright color and beautiful appearance, which is very popular among users.
welcome.

READ MOREContact Material and Its Direct Impact
The core of any terminal block is the contact point—the area where the conductor is clamped. The material chosen for this contact is paramount. In household meter box terminal blocks, a copper alloy is almost universally employed. Copper is selected for its electrical conductivity, which is second only to silver among common metals. This high conductivity is crucial for energy loss in the form of heat.
However, pure copper is relatively soft and can be prone to corrosion. To enhance mechanical strength and resistance to environmental degradation, it is typically combined with other elements to form an alloy. A common choice is brass (copper and zinc) or phosphor bronze (copper, tin, and phosphorus). These alloys offer a strong balance of good conductivity, cost-effectiveness, and durability. The specific alloy and its plating, if any, directly influence the block's long-term performance and resistance to oxidation, which can increase resistance over time.
The Critical Relationship with Electrical Resistance
Electrical resistance is the opposition to the flow of current within a material. In a terminal block, the goal is to keep this resistance as low as possible. Excessive resistance at the connection point converts electrical energy into thermal energy (heat), which is inefficient and can become a safety hazard. The contact material's inherent conductivity is the line of defense against high resistance.
The second is the physical design of the clamp itself. A secure, high-pressure connection between the contact and the wire is essential. This force breaks through any non-conductive oxide layers on the wire, ensuring a gas-tight connection that minimizes air exposure and prevents further oxidation. Therefore, a well-designed terminal block with a suitable copper alloy contact and a robust clamping mechanism maintains a stable, low-resistance path for current, ensuring both safety and efficiency for the household's electrical system.
These blocks are engineered to perform reliably at elevated temperatures that would cause standard blocks to fail. However, they operate within specific boundaries. Recognizing these parameters is key to ensuring a safe and lasting installation.
Performance Can Be Influenced by External Factors: The performance of a heat resistant terminal block is not solely dependent on its material composition. The entire system's heat management plays a significant role. For instance, the block's temperature is a combination of the ambient environmental heat and the internal heat generated by the current flowing through it (I²R heating). A block rated for 150°C installed next to a powerful transformer emitting radiant heat may already be near its limit before any current is even applied. Proper derating—using a block with a higher current rating than the circuit requires—is essential in high-temperature environments to keep operating temperatures within safe limits.
Potential for Creep and Stress Relaxation at Elevated Temperatures: While the polymer housing of a heat resistant block is designed to withstand heat, all plastics are subject to a phenomenon called creep under continuous mechanical load and high temperature. This is the slow, gradual deformation of the material. Over many heating and cooling cycles, this can a reduction in the clamping force applied by the screw or spring, a process known as stress relaxation. Even a high-performance block requires periodic inspection and maintenance in applications to ensure connections remain tight and secure over its entire service life.
A terminal block set is a convenient packaging solution designed to provide an installer with a versatile assortment of components for a specific type of connection system. Instead of purchasing individual parts in large quantities, a set offers a curated collection that enables the completion of various wiring tasks within a control panel or enclosure. While contents can vary by manufacturer and intended application, a typical comprehensive set includes several key items.
The foundation of any set is an assortment of the terminal blocks themselves. This usually includes a range of the common types, such as standard feed-through blocks for simple connections, ground blocks for safety grounding, and fused blocks for circuit protection. The set will often contain blocks with different numbers of levels (e.g., one, two, and three levels) to allow for potential expansion or multi-level bridging. A selection of various current ratings (e.g., 15A, 30A) is also common to handle different circuit loads.
To support these blocks, the set will include the necessary mounting hardware. This primarily consists of end brackets and mounting feet that are used to securely anchor a group of blocks to a DIN rail, the standard mounting platform in industrial enclosures. Finally, no set is complete without a variety of accessories for functionality and organization.
